Colonel Wheeler 7th grade volleyball team traveled across town to Taft on Wednesday night for a crosstown rivalry! The A match did not disappoint it opened up with 25-22 Wheeler win. In set 2, the bulldogs from Taft and Wheeler traded punches back and forth until Wheeler came out victorious with a 25-24 win! They continue to improve each game. Season record is 15-1 now! Great job ladies! The 7th grade B team also traveled to Taft on Wednesday night for a tough 3 set match! Taft came out hot and took an early lead which would eventually lead to a victory in set 1. Wheeler shook off the first set and played an awesome second set, giving them a win and tying up the match! In the decisive set three, the Taft Bulldogs were too much to overcome and Wheeler dropped the 3rd set and the match. They fought hard and should be proud of their effort! We take on TJ at home on Thursday night!
