Colonel John Wheeler Middle School

The boys and girls cross country teams raced Taft last night in the annual “Battle of the Bulldogs” relay race. The Colonel Wheeler boys came out victorious by a score of 27-28. Leading the way for the bulldogs were a second place finish by Jackson Zambo and Kevin Scanlon, a third place finish by Leo Franceschi and Chris Hlavaty and a 6th place finish by Finn O’Shea and Jon Kuiper. The girls team lost to Taft, however the relay team of Lilyana Frendling and Lanie Dalton were victorious! Great job girls! Also, the team of Charlie Ristenpart and Olivia Mooney finished 5th. Next up is the Willowcreek Invitational this Saturday at Woodland Park in Portage.
